Job Overview
Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness across all store areas, including the shop floor, dispensary, stock room, admin office, and canteen. The role requires strict adherence to Dis-Chem’s hygienic standards, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both staff and customers.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following essential criteria:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Minimum six months of cleaning experience
- Good command of the English language (written and oral)
- Basic customer service skills
- Ability to speak an additional local language is advantageous
- Willingness and ability to work retail hours
Additional advantages include:
- Being bilingual
- Prior retail store cleaning experience
Key Responsibilities
Store Cleaners will be expected to:
- Deliver daily cleaning routines across the store before opening hours.
- Ensure canteens and restrooms are spotless and well-stocked at all times.
- Respond promptly during operating hours to any cleaning requirements.
- Use the correct cleaning products and equipment for each task.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including using visible wet floor signs.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers when needed.
