Key Responsibilities
The Strength and Conditioning Coach Internship offers valuable hands-on experience, where the intern will support both the Biokineticist and Strength and Conditioning Coaches in the following ways:
- Development and Coordination: Assisting in the design and execution of physical activity programmes, tailored to promote fundamental skills and physical fitness.
- Sports-Specific Testing: Conducting assessments to evaluate and improve athletic performance, ensuring students are well-prepared for their respective sports.
- Physical Literacy and Sport Conditioning: Implementing physical literacy sessions and sport conditioning to develop students’ movement patterns, agility, and overall strength.
- Collaboration: Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve the goals of the programme, while also managing individual tasks effectively.

Skills and Qualifications Required

- Education: A sport-related degree or an advanced qualification in Strength and Conditioning is essential.
- Experience: While previous experience working with young children is not mandatory, it is an advantage, especially in the realm of physical activity and sports.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are important for working with both learners and staff members.
