WSP Officer Job Vacancies

The Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA) is seeking a WSP Officer to join its team in Gauteng’s Eastern Suburbs. This permanent position, listed under reference JHB000184, offers a chance to play a key role in supporting the organisation’s Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) initiatives.

Position Overview

The WSP Officer will focus on advancing HWSETA’s mission by:

  • Implementing WSP policy
  • Conducting quality assurance, monitoring, evaluation, and risk management
  • Evaluating and recommending WSP/ATR submissions
  • Building capacity among provincial personnel
  • Advocating for WSP/ATR submissions and providing stakeholder support
  • Managing reporting and administration

This position will be based at HWSETA’s Bedfordview offices.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Education:
    • Matric / Grade 12 (compulsory)
    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources Development, Social Sciences, Finance, or Auditing
  • Experience:
    • 4–6 years in a training and development environment
    • Skills Development experience is advantageous
    • Advanced computer literacy is essential

Remuneration Package

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary between R602 267 and R805 157 per annum, aligned with their skills and experience.
