  1. Senior Court Interpreter
    Reference Number: 2025/202/OCJ
    Salary: R325,101 – R382,959 per annum (Level 07)
    Location: Eastern Cape Division of The Court: Gqeberha
    Key Requirements:
    • Grade 12 and 10 years of practical experience in court interpreting or a 3-year National Diploma in Legal Interpreting (NQF Level 6).
    • Proficiency in English, IsiXhosa, and Afrikaans.
    • A valid driver’s license is advantageous.
      Key Duties:
    • Provide interpreting services in court proceedings, translate legal documents, and assist with the reconstruction of court records.
  2. Administration Clerk: Legal
    Reference Number: 2025/203/OCJ
    Salary: R228,321 – R268,950 per annum (Level 05)
    Location: Western Cape Provincial Service Centre
    Key Requirements:
    • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
    • LLB Degree or zero to two years of experience in a legal environment is preferred.
      Key Duties:
    • Conduct legal research, compile statistics, assist with case flow management, and provide administrative support as required.
  3. Administration Clerk: DCRS

    Salary: R228,321 – R268,950 per annum (Level 05)
    Location: Western Cape Division of the High Court: Cape Town
    Key Requirements:
    • Grade 12 with an NQF Level 6 or 7 qualification in a related field.
    • Experience in court-related functions such as court recordings or case flow management is preferred.
      Key Duties:
    • Operate court recording equipment, record court proceedings, and assist with case flow management.

    Location: North-West Division of The High Court: Mmabatho
    Key Requirements:
    • Grade 12.
    • Knowledge of law subjects and legal terminology, along with the ability to operate computer systems.

    • Assist with legal research, compile statistics, and support the Court Manager with general administrative duties.

    • Matric Certificate.
    • A three-year National Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent is preferred.
      Key Duties:
    • Facilitate recruitment, selection, and appointment processes. Implement PERSAL transactions related to appointments, performance management, and service termination.
  6. Usher Messenger
    Reference Number: 2025/207/OCJ
    Salary: R163,680 – R192,810 per annum (Level 03)
    Location: Northern Cape Division of The High Court: Kimberley
    Key Requirements:
    • Grade 10/ABET qualification (NQF Level 2).
    • A valid driver’s license is required.
      Key Duties:
    • Escort Judges to courtrooms, maintain courtroom records, and assist with general office and administrative duties.
