Admission Requirements
To qualify for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Senior Certificate with Endorsement (Matric Exemption) or National Senior Certificate with a Bachelor’s Degree Pass.
- A minimum of 24 points on the rating scale, excluding Life Orientation.
Compulsory Subjects:
- English (HG E or Level 4)
- Biology/Life Sciences (HG E or Level 4)
- Physical Sciences (HG E or Level 4)
- Mathematics (HG E or Level 4)
- Maths Literacy (Level 5)
Applicants must also be South African citizens to be considered for the program.
Training Overview
The three-year Diploma in Nursing is offered by the Limpopo Province College of Nursing at its four campuses, including Giyani, Sovenga, Thohoyandou, and Sekhukhune. The training program is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to register as professional nurses with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). Upon successful completion, graduates will receive a diploma endorsed by the Moderating Higher Education Institution, which is recognized by the SANC.

There is a non-refundable application fee of R150. No cash payments will be accepted.
