Criteria for Selection
Selection will be based strictly on academic merit and compliance with programme requirements. Applicants should note the following conditions:
- Applicants must study at an accredited South African tertiary institution.
- Admission to a tertiary institution is the responsibility of the student.
- The bursary applies only to qualifications of one year or longer.
- Postgraduate qualifications do not qualify.
- The bursary may be renewed annually, depending on academic performance and results.

- South African identity document
- Proof of residence in Johannesburg (e.g., Water & Lights or Rates & Taxes statement)
