Scope of Duties

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for conceptualising and hosting podcasts that highlight student talent, leadership initiatives, innovation, culture, and entrepreneurship within the university environment.

Core responsibilities include conducting interviews with students, alumni, industry partners, and guest speakers. The role requires preparing episode outlines, drafting questions, and ensuring that discussions align with institutional values and goals. The appointed candidate must facilitate inclusive, respectful, and engaging discussions on student-related themes.

The position involves collaborating with student clubs and societies to identify relevant content and suitable podcast guests. The Administrative Assistant will also support student participation and skills development in podcasting, media production, and digital communication.

Operational responsibilities include coordinating recording schedules, ensuring timely release of episodes, and promoting podcast content through campus platforms and social media channels. The successful candidate will oversee both technical and administrative aspects of podcast production.

Additional duties include booking guests, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, assisting in developing marketing strategies to grow audience engagement, and monitoring podcast performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

The role requires ensuring that all content complies with university policies, ethical standards, and communication guidelines.
