Purpose of the Job
The Warehouse Administrator Officer will be responsible for monitoring warehouse activities, managing deliveries, and ensuring that stock movements are recorded accurately.
This role supports warehouse operations by making sure all materials are received, stored, picked, and dispatched correctly, while following company procedures and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries
- Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) stock rotation is followed
- Maintain bin locations and storage records
- Perform stock counts and physical verification
- Update stock information on SAP / ERP systems
- Manage receiving, picking, put-away, and dispatch queues
- Resolve warehouse errors and transaction issues
- Handle expired or damaged materials correctly
- Prepare and file delivery and material movement documents
- Investigate stock variances and resolve discrepancies
- Support warehouse teams with operational queries
- Assist with warehouse process improvements
- Manage warehouse consumables requisitions
- Ensure documents are archived according to company policy
Key Accountabilities
- Validate all documents related to material movements
- Capture stock transactions on the ERP system
- Maintain accurate records for audits and investigations
- Resolve stock deviations and queries
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures
- File and archive documents correctly
