Entry Requirements

To be considered for the Hairdresser Occupational Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be eligible for NSFAS funding for the 2026 academic year (applications open on 1 July 2026)
  • Must not have previously received NSFAS funding for another qualification
  • Have Grade 9 with previous hairdressing experience and not currently be committed to a salon
  • OR have Grade 10 with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy passed
