Important Criteria
- Employment Restriction
- Applicants must not be employed full-time. A maximum of 12 hours of work per week is permitted.
- Proof of Additional Funding Applications
- Applicants must have applied for other sources of funding and provide proof of these applications.
- First-Year Doctoral Requirement
- The scholarship is intended for students who will be in their first year of doctoral studies in 2025. Current UP students who will be in their second or third year in 2025, and who do not have existing funding, are also eligible.
- Supervisor Requirement
- Applicants must have an identified supervisor who will need to provide input as part of the online application process.
