Key Responsibilities of the Barista Role

- Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffee and teas, in line with iCafe’s high standards.

- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the broader iCafe and iStore teams to support daily café operations.

Requirements for the Barista Position
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Completed Matric (Grade 12).
- Experience: Previous experience as a Barista or in a café environment is preferred, though not essential.
- Passion for Coffee: A genuine passion for coffee and a commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Personality Traits: Friendly, approachable, and able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Skills: Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Working Hours
This position requires the Barista to work five days a week, including Saturdays, in line with the retail hours of the iCafe. Flexibility is required for shifts, including morning and afternoon coverage.
