Career Opportunities Available:

1. Assistant Manager: Supply Chain Management (Level 09)

  • Salary: R 468 459 – R 551 823 per annum (excluding benefits)
  • Location: Free State Regional Office (Ref No: SAS FS 0170/25)

Key Responsibilities:
The Assistant Manager: Supply Chain Management will be responsible for implementing the operational plan of the demand and acquisition unit, reconciling and submitting demand plans, monitoring requisition registers, and ensuring compliance with supply chain regulations. The role will also involve managing supplier databases, developing internal control services, and overseeing resources within the unit.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6, 360 credits) with management accounting and purchasing as major subjects.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial management.
  • Knowledge of accrual accounting, Public Finance and Management Act (PFMA), and Treasury Regulations is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP and a valid driver’s license are essential.

2. Assistant Manager: Development and Transformation (Level 09)

  • Salary: R 468 459 – R 551 823 per annum (excluding benefits)
  • Location: Free State Regional Office (Ref No: SAS FS 0040/25)

Key Responsibilities:
This role involves overseeing the management of Training & Development programs, facilitating Employee Wellness Programs, HIV & AIDS initiatives in the workplace, and Employment Equity initiatives. The Assistant Manager will also manage the Performance Management and Development System and lead a team of subordinates.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or three-year tertiary qualification (NQF 6, 360 credits) in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR management or related areas.
  • Strong competency in planning, organizing, and project management.
  • Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential.

3. Clerk: Financial Accounting (Level 05)

  • Salary: R 228 321 – R 268 950 per annum (excluding benefits)
  • Location: Free State Regional Office (Ref No: SAS FS 0163)

Key Responsibilities:
The Clerk in Financial Accounting will manage payment administration services, ensuring payments to creditors are processed within 30 days and managing accounts payable. Other responsibilities include reconciling creditor accounts, managing interdepartmental claims, and maintaining an effective filing system.

Requirements:

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with Mathematics or Accounting as a subject.
  • Computer literacy is essential, with a relevant three-year qualification (NQF Level 6, 360 credits) being an advantage.
  • A valid driver’s license and experience in administrative or clerical roles will be beneficial.

4. Document Management Administrator: Facilities and Auxiliary Services (Level 05)

Key Responsibilities:
The Document Management Administrator will be responsible for sorting and dispatching mail, maintaining records, filing, and binding documents, and updating management registers. The role also includes handling internal mail systems and performing additional administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
  • Computer literacy is a must.
  • A relevant three-year qualification (NQF 6, 360 credits) and administrative or clerical experience would be advantageous. A valid driver’s license is also preferred.
