Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation
- Collect payments on delinquent accounts (60–90 days) within the targeted timeframe.
- Secure “promise to pay” commitments from customers.
- Support customer rehabilitation through education on payment profiles.
- Consistently achieve and exceed daily and monthly collection targets.
Efficiency and Productivity
- Conduct negotiations according to approved call scripts while maintaining call-time efficiency.
- Submit daily lost time sheets accurately.
- Adhere strictly to company systems, policies, and procedures.
- Proactively suggest improvements to enhance departmental performance and customer experience.
Customer Service
- Negotiate payments while preserving positive customer relationships.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous approach in all communications.

Quality Standards
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in all customer interactions and system updates.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
Experience and Skills
- At least 1 year of collections experience in a contact centre environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comfortable working shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Clear credit and criminal record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet applications.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and listening skills.
