False Bay TVET College, in partnership with ETDP SETA, is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for exciting 24-month Graduate Internship opportunities.

The programme offers graduates an opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience in positions aligned with their qualifications and fields of study. Successful candidates must be available to commence immediately.


Internship Opportunities Available

1. Graduate Intern: Student Support Services – NQF Level 7

  • Number of positions: 2
  • Stipend: R7 500 per month
  • Locations: Mitchell’s Plain Campus or Khayelitsha Campus
  • Department: Student Support and Development Services (SSDS)

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens
  • Have no criminal record
  • Be unemployed graduates at the time of application
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be computer literate, including proficiency in the MS Office Suite

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must have a SAQA-recognised Bachelor’s Degree at NQF Level 7 in one of the following fields:

  • Psychology
  • Applied Social Science
  • Social Sciences
  • Community Development
  • Counselling
  • A related field

2. Graduate Intern: Student Support Services – NQF Level 6

  • Number of positions: 2
  • Stipend: R6 000 per month
  • Locations: Westlake Campus or Muizenberg Campus
  • Department: Student Support and Development Services (SSDS)

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens
  • Have no criminal record
  • Be unemployed graduates at the time of application
  • Be computer literate, including proficiency in the MS Office Suite

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must have completed an NQF Level 6 qualification in one of the following fields:

  • Counselling and Communication Skills
  • Psychology
  • Applied Psychology
  • Behavioural Sciences
  • Social Sciences
  • Community Development
  • Youth Development
  • Social Work
  • A related field

3. Graduate Intern: Open Learning Centre – NQF Level 6

  • Number of positions: 1
  • Stipend: R6 000 per month
  • Location: Fish Hoek Campus
  • Department: Academic Services

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens
  • Have no criminal record
  • Be unemployed graduates at the time of application
  • Be computer literate, including proficiency in the MS Office Suite

Qualification Requirements

Preference will be given to graduates with an NQF Level 6 qualification in:

  • Library and Information Studies
  • Information and Communications Technology
  • Information Technology

Internship Duration

The internship programme will run for a period of 24 months.

Workplace exposure will be aligned with the graduate’s qualification and field of study, providing successful candidates with an opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional working environment.
