Key Responsibilities

  • Grade 4 Teaching: Delivering lessons in isiZulu or Afrikaans FAL, with a focus on the Intermediate Phase (Grades 4 to 6).

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the position, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • A recognized degree and/or a 4-year professional teaching qualification.
  • SACE registration.
  • Proficiency in teaching Grade 4 with a speciality in Intermediate Phase isiZulu or Afrikaans FAL up to Grade 6.
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in using online teaching platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
  • The ability to collaborate and be flexible within a team-oriented environment.
  • A sound understanding of 21st-century learning and constructivist teaching methodologies.
  • Experience in continuous assessment and a thorough understanding of classroom management.
  • Knowledge and experience with the CAPS curriculum.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A high level of self-motivation, energy, and initiative.
