If you are a young South African between the ages of 18 and 35, currently unemployed, and not studying full time, living in or around the uMgungundlovu District or Durban area, this is your chance to shine! The Health Systems Trust YES Programme is opening doors for 25 young people to gain valuable work experience in the health sector. This programme is a great stepping stone for youth who are passionate about improving their communities while building their own careers.

Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you must:

  • Be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Be currently unemployed
  • Not studying full time
  • Not receiving any government grants (this includes NSFAS, disability, or any other grant, except for the social relief grant)
  • Be interested in health sector work
  • Have a matric certificate
