What You Will Do
- Enforce the Immigration Act and related legislation
- Conduct inspections at workplaces, businesses and residences, with or without a warrant where the law allows
- Trace, interview and detain persons suspected of contravening immigration laws
- Process deportations, including identity confirmation, travel documents and escorting
- Prepare statements and evidence, and appear in court or departmental proceedings
- Participate in joint law enforcement and anti-corruption operations
- Maintain case records and safeguard state property

- South African citizens with an undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6 in Law, Public Management, Public Administration, Policing, Criminology, Forensics, Criminal Justice or a related SAQA-recognised field
