eMedia Investments is offering an exciting Trainee Electrician opportunity for a suitable candidate to receive on-the-job training in electrical inspections, testing, repairs, installations, and system modifications. The successful candidate will work on business premises and on production sets.
Requirements
Grade 11 – Essential
National Diploma: Electrical Technician – Recommended
1 year electrical operational experience – Essential
Code B – Essential
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities
Repairing and Testing
Log all repairs on Job Cards using the Workshop Service/Repair Module.
Repair Distribution Boxes as required.
Test all electrical equipment for faults.
Conduct fault-finding on equipment.
Assist with generator wiring.
Perform ad hoc electrical repairs within scope when required.
Stakeholder Relationships
Build and maintain strong interpersonal and team relationships.
Support team objectives and contribute to a stable working environment.
