Unemployed youth in the Amajuba District Municipality now have an opportunity to gain valuable agricultural skills through a funded training programme at Majuba TVET College.
The college is inviting applications for the Mixed Farming Systems Skills Programme, funded by AgriSETA. This short skills programme is designed to equip young people with practical farming knowledge and improve their chances of employment or self-employment in the agricultural sector.

Who Can Apply?
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be unemployed
- Not currently be studying
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Reside within the Amajuba District Municipality
Preference will be given to:
- People living with disabilities
- Female applicants
- Youth from deep rural areas within Amajuba District
Please note: No stipend will be provided for this programme.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 11 with numeracy, literacy and communication skills
