About the SACBW Foundation Bursary
The South African Council for Business Women (SACBW) Foundation NPC is a non-profit organisation that promotes education and leadership opportunities for young women. Through the SACBW Foundation Bursary, the organisation helps reduce financial barriers that prevent talented students from accessing tertiary education.
In addition to financial support, successful applicants will receive the Youth Leader Award from the South African Council for Business Women. Furthermore, bursary payments are made directly to the student’s tertiary institution.

SACBW Foundation Bursary Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the bursary, applicants must meet all of the following minimum requirements:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be female
- Be younger than 20 years old
- Be currently completing Matric
- Have an overall academic average of at least 70%
- Intend to study one of the approved fields in 2027
- Demonstrate financial need and be unable to afford tertiary studies
Applications that do not meet every requirement may not be considered.

What Does the SACBW Foundation Bursary Cover?

- Certified copy of your South African ID
- Certified copy of your June Matric results
- A 250-word motivational essay explaining why you deserve the bursary
- A three-minute video covering the same points as your motivational essay
Important Application Notes

- Combine the completed application form and all supporting documents into one PDF file.
- Name the PDF using your full name and surname.
- Submit your video via email, Dropbox or WeTransfer.
