About the Role
The SCM Data Capturer position at TCTA is pivotal in supporting the Senior Manager: SCM with capturing and migrating supplier data into the new Procurement to Pay System. The role focuses on ensuring the successful migration of data, allowing for a smooth and efficient procurement process within the organization.
As a key contributor to the SCM Task Team, the Data Capturer will be responsible for gathering critical data, updating procurement plans, verifying the accuracy and completeness of supplier information, and working closely with service providers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The SCM Data Capturer will be required to carry out a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:
- Collating Supplier Information: Gathering and capturing all relevant suppliers’ data from multiple sources into the new system.
- Updating Supplier Data: Assisting with the gathering of new BBBEE certificates and Sworn Affidavit for EMEs & QSEs to ensure suppliers’ details are current and accurate.
- Managing Contracts: Coordinating the gathering of suppliers’ contract performance review documents for inclusion in the system.
- Procurement Plan Updates: Updating the procurement plan with the latest status for the new system’s implementation.
- Verifying Data Accuracy: Ensuring all information entered is complete, valid, and accurate to maintain the integrity of the new system.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Working closely with service providers and stakeholders to ensure proper system migration.
- Reporting: Providing status updates and coordinating information from SCM to the project team.
- Miscellaneous Tasks: Performing other duties as allocated by the Senior Manager: Procurement.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the role of SCM Data Capturer, candidates should possess:
- A Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Logistics qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in Supply Chain Management and administration.
- The ability to handle data with precision and efficiency.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
