Key Responsibilities
Operational Duties
- Monitor SCADA systems, CCTV, alarms, and security equipment.
- Log and escalate incidents using SANRAL’s service management system.
- Respond promptly to alarms and complaints.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance interpretation for:
- CCTV
- Generators
- Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
- Perimeter security
- Access control systems
- Manage site alarms and contractor safety during after-hours work.
Reporting and Compliance
- Maintain real-time dashboards and submit maintenance reports.
- Support audits with proper documentation and case histories.
- Compile risk assessments and assist in technical incident reviews.
- Ensure compliance with SANRAL’s safety and operational protocols.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following:
- Senior Certificate (Matric)
- At least 5 years of experience in a control room environment
- PSIRA Certification – Grade B or A
- SCADA Training Certification
Advantageous Experience
