Traffic Officer Learnerships 2025 / 2026

The Limpopo Department of Transport invites applications for its Traffic Officer Learnerships for the 2025/2026 period. Traffic Officer Learnership Overview:

The learnership is available in several districts within Limpopo, with specific reference numbers assigned to each location.

  • Position Title: Traffic Learner Officer
  • Stipend: R67,675.60 per annum
  • Duration: 12-month contract.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Age Range: 18-35 years.
  • Driver’s License: At least a valid Code B driving license (Manual Transmission).
  • Criminal Record: Applicants must have no criminal record.
  • Appearance: No visible tattoos that contradict professional conduct.
  • Health: Medical certificate proving fitness for strenuous exercise.
  • Firearm Control: Applicants must not be unfit to possess a firearm as per the Firearm Control Act, 2000.
  • Shift Work: Be prepared to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Driving Test: All candidates will undergo a driving and competency test.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
