Programme Overview

Responsibilities:
The selected candidates will gain practical experience in various aspects of freight handling, including:
- Loading and off-loading goods from vehicles
- Preparing vehicles for trips and ensuring safe transport
- Receiving, dispatching, and handling freight documentation
- Performing general warehouse and transport-related duties
- Managing deliveries and collections of goods
- Maintaining clean workspaces and managing stock
- Receiving incoming stock and verifying against documentation
- Structured training aligned with industry standards
Candidates will also receive workplace mentorship and training aligned with industry standards, preparing them for external verification assessments.
Learnership Requirements
To be eligible for this learnership opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- South African Citizenship
- Grade 12 or TVET/NQF Level 2 qualification (with at least 40% in Maths and English)
- Ages between 23 to 35 years
- Good physical health and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing)
- Numerical orientation and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work weekends and shifts
- Clear criminal record
- Must reside in one of the following areas: Germiston, Alberton, Boksburg, or Johannesburg
- Working hours: 08:00 – 18:00
Advantageous Qualifications:
- Computer literacy
- Previous work experience in logistics or a similar field
