The PPS Foundation was established by PPS (Professional Provident Society), South Africa’s only mutual financial services company that exclusively serves graduate professionals. Who Can Apply for the PPS Foundation Bursary
To qualify for the PPS Foundation Bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must maintain a minimum academic average of 65%.
- Must have a household income of R1,000,000 or less per annum.
This bursary is intended for students who not only perform well academically but also demonstrate financial need and a desire to give back to their communities.
Required Supporting Documents
Applicants must upload clear and valid copies of all the following documents when applying for the PPS Foundation Bursary:
- Full academic transcript or results on official letterhead:
- Matriculants and first-year applicants should submit preliminary results by 20 December 2025.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit final academic results by 16 January 2026.
- Proof of household income (choose one of the following):
- Payslips of parent(s)/guardian(s), if employed
- Affidavit if parent(s)/guardian(s) are unemployed
- Death certificate(s) if parent(s)/guardian(s) are deceased
- Certified copy of South African ID, not older than 3 months
