Apprenticeship Stipend
All successful applicants accepted into the City of Tshwane Apprenticeship Programme will receive a monthly stipend of R2 792.44 for the duration of the programme.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the City of Tshwane apprenticeship, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Technical Matric, NCV Level 4, or N2 certificate
- Mathematics and Physical Science
- Relevant trade theory for the chosen apprenticeship
- Strong interest in becoming a qualified artisan
- Commitment to completing the full apprenticeship programme
- Applicants must not already hold a trade certificate in the applied trade

Equity, Disability and Preference Criteria
The programme supports employment equity and inclusive development:
- Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals
- Women are strongly encouraged to apply
