These limited apprenticeship opportunities are ideal for applicants who want to build a career in the construction and plumbing sectors while receiving hands-on workplace training. Due to limited placement availability, eligible candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Available Gert Sibande TVET College Apprenticeships

The following Gert Sibande TVET College Apprenticeships are currently available for the 2026 intake:

• Bricklayer Apprenticeship
• Carpenter Apprenticeship
• Plumber Apprenticeship

Each apprenticeship programme is designed to equip learners with industry-relevant skills and prepare them to become qualified artisans.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum academic requirements:

• Technical Grade 11 with relevant subjects
• N2 qualification with relevant subjects
• NCV Level 4 with all relevant subjects

Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee placement, as spaces are limited.
