Coming next: an employment contract generator, a minimum wage checker by sector, a notice and severance calculator, ready-to-fill HR letters, a hiring kit, an onboarding pack, and Ask HR for the questions a template cannot answer.
Questions employers ask
Are these employer tools free?
Yes. Every tool on this page is free to use, and you do not need an account to start. You pay only if you choose a paid extra, like contacting a candidate, running a background check, or featuring your advert at the top of the feed. The prices are shown before you pay, and there is nothing to cancel.
Do I need an account to use them?
No, not to use the tools or to see a result on screen. You can work out a figure or download a document without signing up. You make an account when you are ready to post a job or contact a candidate, and that takes about two minutes.
How do employee background checks work?
You run a check only with the person's consent, which we record. An identity check confirms the South African ID against the Home Affairs record. You see the result in your hub, and you pay only for the checks you run. Nothing is checked, and nothing is charged, until the person agrees.
Can a job seeker see that I looked at them?
Not when you look. If you shortlist someone, they get a note that an employer saved their profile, but it does not name you. They learn who you are, and which job, only when you unlock their contact details. One thing to know: a job seeker who has published a public profile already shows their name, town and photo to any signed-in employer, because they chose to put those out in the open.
