Key Responsibilities and Duties
As an Artisan in the Energy sector, the primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth execution of construction, installation, and maintenance activities. You will be tasked with interpreting and coordinating specific pre-work requirements, guiding personnel, and overseeing both major and minor works. Key duties include:
- Work Site Preparation: You will oversee the preparation of work sites, ensuring all required equipment and resources are in place for the successful execution of tasks.
- Team Leadership: The role involves supervising a team, providing them with clear guidelines and instructions to carry out installations and repairs.
- Documentation and Reporting: Regular completion of internal transactional documentation, such as time sheets, progress reports, and field logs, will be required. You will also ensure that vehicle checklists and other relevant forms are completed in a timely manner.
- Specialised Vehicle and Equipment Operation: You will manage and operate heavy and/or specialised vehicles and equipment as part of the repair and maintenance activities.
- Construction and Installation Coordination: The role involves managing the sequence of activities associated with the construction and installation of facilities, ensuring everything is done on time and to the required standards.
- Building Services Maintenance: Maintaining the functionality and quality of building services is a key part of the role, ensuring the highest standards of operational efficiency.

This role demands a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and practical experience. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Trade Test Certificate: This is a mandatory qualification for this position.
- Driver’s License: A valid Code 8 or EC1 driver’s license is essential.
- Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience is required, particularly in the construction and energy sectors.
- Supervisory Skills: Previous experience in supervising a team is an important requirement, as this role involves leading and coordinating personnel.
Salary and Benefits
