Is the AU CIEFFA ImpactHER fully-funded online training really free?

Yes. As the name suggests, this is a fully-funded programme, meaning there is no tuition or participation fee. It is sponsored by ImpactHER in partnership with AU CIEFFA.

Who can apply for the 4th edition?

Any African citizen, living on the continent or in the diaspora, who meets the eligibility criteria can apply, regardless of gender, though the programme has a strong focus on advancing opportunities for women.

What certificate will I receive?

Participants who attend at least 80% of a given programme area (Digital Skills, Entrepreneurial Skills, or Financial Literacy) receive a certificate for that specific track.

When does the training start and when must I apply by?

Applications for the AU CIEFFA ImpactHER fully-funded online training close on 31 July 2026, and the training officially begins on 31 August 2026.

Is this training only for women?

No. While AU CIEFFA's core mandate centres on girls' and women's education, this specific training programme is open to both women and men.

What languages is the training offered in?

The programme is delivered in English, French, and Portuguese, so applicants should have a clear understanding of at least one of these languages.

Can I apply if I don't have entrepreneurship experience yet?

Yes. The programme is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders as well as those already running a business, so prior experience is not a strict requirement, motivation and commitment matter most.
