City of Tshwane Apprenticeship Programme 2026

Apprenticeship Stipend

All successful applicants accepted into the City of Tshwane Apprenticeship Programme will receive a monthly stipend of R2 792.44 for the duration of the programme.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the City of Tshwane apprenticeship, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Technical Matric, NCV Level 4, or N2 certificate
  • Mathematics and Physical Science
  • Relevant trade theory for the chosen apprenticeship
  • Strong interest in becoming a qualified artisan
  • Commitment to completing the full apprenticeship programme
  • Applicants must not already hold a trade certificate in the applied trade
