Do I need work experience to apply?

No. The learnership is designed for unemployed youth with no previous work experience. You only need Matric with 65% for English, or a relevant Transport, Logistics or Business qualification.

DHL has not published the stipend amount in the advert. The stipend will be confirmed during the application process. Learnerships in this sector typically pay a monthly allowance for the duration of the programme.

Where is the learnership based?

The programme is based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. Applicants should be able to travel to the DHL offices daily, as this is an in-person workplace programme.

Will I get a job at DHL afterwards?

Completion does not guarantee permanent employment, but you will leave with a nationally recognised NQF Level 5 qualification, 12 months of experience at a global company and a strong advantage in the logistics job market.
