About the Learnership

The National Certificate: IT Systems Support (NQF Level 5) is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and practical skills needed to support computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.

Successful candidates will gain exposure to:

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the learnership, applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens
  • Have completed Matric with Mathematics and English
  • Be unemployed
  • Be under the age of 35 as of 30 June 2026
  • Be computer literate
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Have no criminal record
  • Not be participating in another learnership or internship programme
  • Not be studying at any institution, including distance learning institutions
  • Reside within the greater Cape Town area
  • Be willing to attend the full 12-month programme

Important: Relocation is not an option. Only candidates living in the Cape Town area will be considered.
