Data Capturer Jobs Responsibilities

Core Duties

Data Capturers will manage TB-related data at facility and community levels. They will work closely with facility staff and IHPS M&E officers.

Key Performance Areas

  • Capture and record TB screening data accurately
  • Verify and clean data monthly and quarterly
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Submit timely reports to facilities and districts
  • Manage data on systems such as DHIS and Tier.Net
  • Support patient linkage and referral reporting
  • Perform filing and general administration tasks
  • Ensure compliance with the POPI Act

Required Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • At least two years’ experience in data capturing and reporting

  • NQF Level 6 qualification in health, IT, data management, or related fields

  • Knowledge of NDoH health information systems

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong keyboarding speed and accuracy
