Purpose of the Role

The main goal of this position is to deliver an exceptional client experience while driving sales and maintaining brand excellence. As a Make-Up Artist, you will play a key role in strengthening NARS’s image, achieving sales targets, and ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling confident, informed, and inspired.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maximise Turnover and Productivity

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Drive sales through the make-up category as a core focus area.
• Actively participate in events, product launches, and retailer activities once certified by NARS.
• Provide timely feedback to management regarding sales trends and customer insights.

2. Brand Management

• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
• Uphold brand hygiene, safety, and aesthetic standards at all times.
• Maintain consistency in visual merchandising and customer engagement in line with brand guidelines.

3. Stock Management and Store Operations

• Ensure stock levels are properly maintained and visually presented.
• Report out-of-stock items promptly to minimise sales disruption.
• Follow company policies related to stock control, loss prevention, and point-of-sale procedures.

4. Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience

• Offer consistent, personalised service to each customer.
• Demonstrate professional make-up techniques tailored to client needs.
• Share expert tips, product knowledge, and insights into current beauty trends.
• Build customer loyalty through trust, education, and authentic interaction.
• Grow the store’s customer database by attracting new shoppers and encouraging repeat visits.
