We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and well-spoken Sales Assistant to join our dynamic retail team.
Job Description & Responsibilities
As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our brand. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Welcoming and assisting mall shoppers with a warm, friendly, and co-operative attitude.
Demonstrating excellent attention to detail when handling luxury merchandise, processing payments, and maintaining store visual displays.
Learning about our unique leather products quickly to provide accurate styling and care advice to customers.
Ensuring the boutique is kept immaculate, secure, and well-stocked at all times.
Shift Requirements & Availability
Because we are located in a premium shopping mall, candidates must be flexible and fully prepared to work retail trading hours:
Standard 6-hour or 8-hour shifts.
Shifts range from 09:00 AM openings to 10:00 PM (22:00) closings, including weekends and public holidays according to the mall roster.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements):
Language: High fluency in Afrikaans and English is essential to effectively assist our diverse customer base.
Personality: A quick learner who is vibrant, enthusiastic, and highly motivated to hit sales targets.
Reliability: Must be exceptionally punctual with a strong, dependable work ethic.
Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
Transport: Must have reliable transport to and from Canal Walk, especially for late shifts ending at 10:00 PM.
