Study time is limited when you are working or job hunting. Spending it evenly across the test is a waste, because the three sections are not the same size. Put your hours where the marks actually are.
Signs and rules are 56 of the 64 marks between them. That is where most of your time belongs.
Controls is only 8 marks, but it is also the fastest section to learn, which makes it the cheapest pass in the whole test. One short session is usually enough, and skipping it entirely is how people fail on a technicality.
You have four evenings before the test. How do you split them?
What happens: You give the same time to 8 marks as to 28. The big sections are where a mistake costs you the most, and they need the most repetition.
What happens: Sensible. Signs are the biggest and the most memorisation, rules need thinking practice, and controls is short enough to cover properly in one sitting.

- Book one short session for controls and do not skip it
