South West Gauteng TVET College (SWGC) has officially opened applications for its Occupational Programme in Early Childhood Development (ECD) Practitioners – NQF Level 4 for the 2026 intake.

If you are passionate about working with children and want to build a career in the education sector, this programme could be your opportunity to gain an accredited qualification and practical skills in early childhood development.

Applications are open from 11 May to 12 June 2026, and spaces are limited.

About the Early Childhood Development Programme

The programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to work with young children in early learning environments such as:

Successful candidates will complete an NQF Level 4 qualification with the following details:
