Fidelity Services Group has announced a permanent Mechanic vacancy, offering an exciting opportunity for qualified diesel and petrol mechanics to join their operations team.
The role is based at the Rustenburg branch and focuses on the repair and maintenance of company vehicles. The successful applicant will ensure the smooth running of the fleet, contributing to operational efficiency across the branch.
Key Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Clear criminal record
- Qualified with a recognised trade certificate in diesel/petrol mechanics
- At least five years’ diesel mechanic experience
- Experience with Toyota Dyna, Hino 300, Hilux D4D, and Nissan MP200 vehicles is an advantage
- Valid driver’s licence (Code 10 is beneficial)
- Own transport is advantageous
- Physically fit and able to work under pressure
- Willing to work irregular hours, including standby duties, shifts, and overtime
Job Responsibilities
The appointed mechanic will be responsible for:
- Rebuilding diesel and petrol engines on various makes of vehicles
- Conducting vehicle servicing and daily maintenance tasks
- Compiling paperwork for each vehicle serviced
- Handling general workshop duties
