Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Food Service Aid Duties
Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the Food Services Unit by performing a variety of essential tasks, including:
- Performing routine duties within the Food Service Unit
- Operating large-scale food service equipment
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Cleaning food preparation areas, storerooms, cold rooms and freezers
- Unpacking and storing food supplies
- Packing and organizing provisions in storage areas
- Preparing and portioning meals
- Distributing normal and therapeutic diets to patients
- Following departmental food service policies and procedures
- Assisting in different sections of the unit when required
- Supporting the team to ensure efficient daily food service operations
