Job Responsibilities

As a Contact Centre Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional support and ensuring customer satisfaction across various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, chats, and ticketing systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Interactions: Handle and resolve customer queries via phone, email, and chat, ensuring that each interaction is positive and efficient.
  • Support Excellence: Ensure that all support meets the required Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Product and Service Guidance: Provide customers with clear guidance and training on Altron FinTech’s products and services.
  • Accurate Logging: Use internal systems (OFBiz) to log all customer interactions accurately.
  • Follow-Ups: Conduct follow-up calls and feedback surveys with customers after interactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, is seeking candidates with the following:

  • Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
  • A+ / N+ or similar technical qualifications are required.
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a Call Centre or Customer Service environment.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services or Banking: Familiarity with these systems is highly advantageous.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Both written and verbal communication must be clear and concise.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and at least one other South African language. Additional languages will be beneficial.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: You must have excellent telephone etiquette and a passion for providing superior service.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multitask and remain composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Windows and MS Office is required.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking with a drive for continuous improvement.
