Key Responsibilities of the Training Captain

1. Restaurant Orientation and Onboarding
The Training Captain is tasked with conducting the Restaurant Orientation for new team members on their starting day. This involves facilitating the Orientation, either in-store or through the Learning Zone platform. Ensuring that new hires are introduced to KFC’s systems, processes, and culture is essential for setting the foundation of their success.
2. Training and Coaching Team Members
One of the core duties is to train, coach, and certify Team Members, ensuring that all employees are fully equipped to handle their tasks efficiently. This includes creating a dynamic and interactive training environment where learning is encouraged, and operational performance is continuously improved.
3. Evaluation and Feedback
The Training Captain will regularly complete training evaluations to measure the retention of knowledge among employees. These evaluations help identify areas where further training or support might be needed to ensure that all team members are performing to their highest potential.
4. New Product Training
A key responsibility for the Training Captain is the facilitation of New Product Training, aligning with the KFC marketing calendar. As new products are introduced, it’s crucial that team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to serve customers effectively.
