  • Register work-seekers on the Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) database
  • Register work and learning opportunities on the ESSA system
  • Refer work-seekers for employment counselling services
  • Provide administrative support with the placement of work-seekers in work and learning opportunities
  • Render general administrative duties related to public employment services
  • Participate in advocacy sessions as and when required
  • Interact directly with members of the public seeking employment assistance

Who Can Apply

  • South African citizens with a valid ID document
  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate (Senior Certificate)
  • No previous work experience is required
  • Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures and guidelines is advantageous
  • Knowledge of the Employment Services Act, Public Service Act and Regulations, and Batho Pele Principles is advantageous

  • Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
